Most people go day-to-day, rarely giving a thought to their economic picture. To be sure, everyone worries about paying the bills and groans when they pull up to the gas pump, but few people stop and think about what they can do to change their situation. Indeed, most of us keep doing what we were doing, and then wonder years later why things never improved. These days, unless you are among the super-rich, you have likely been watching your lifestyle slowly get a little worse and a little worse, and keeping up gets ever-so-slightly tougher. The $11 increase in the cost of a barrel of oil on Friday of last week (6/7) alone will increase the price of a gallon of gas by more than 40 cents! Even if you wanted to get a second job, few companies are hiring these days.
But there is a bright spot. Network marketing continues to offer real opportunities if you are willing to work part-time, and you select a good company to work with. Importantly this is a good time to find other people to work with you. As the economy slows down, and everyone is feeling the pinch, more and more people are suddenly looking more actively for something to help their finances. Since any reputable network marketing business requires you to build at least an organization of people interested in improving their finances too, this is a great time to start your own home-based business.

Hi,
This is truly a very different and provoking thought, thanks a tonne for sharing. I am also curious about others opinion on this…
Hi Terry
I live in Denmark and the price level of gas have exploded here too. I have to pay what equals $57 (VAT incl.) for 1 liter diesel (June 08)
I have approched the income rise in four different ways:
1 I got a raise in my wage job
2 Investing of small amounts on very short time frames (to get profits fast for reinvestments later in the week)
3 Work harder on my MLM company (parttime)
4 Update my education in coaching
Take responsible action to keep more of your income “in your pocket” for multiplying purpose than before. You do not get better results by doing what you did until now. Your lack of money is often the result of your belief. Change your thoughts and you will gradually change your income. The secret is to take action.
