The launch of the new training system has brought a huge influx of new leads and prospects, which is awesome, because talking on the phone is one of my favorite ways to market. While I find most of the conversations I have interesting, some are more exciting than others.
I just got off the phone with a lady from Connecticut who has experienced big breakthrough in weight loss for her daughter. While her story of success is amazing, it’s her attitude toward marketing that story that I found most impressive.
This is a person with no experience in the home business industry. At present, the only web presence is an affiliate page. However, despite the fact that she is brand new and in search of knowledge that will help her use the Internet correctly, her passion is amazing and she understands her mission.
“So where are you going with this Rex?”
One of the most important aspects of building a business is understanding how to find the RIGHT referrals and prospects. The person I spoke with this morning IS exactly that. Because of the fact that the breakthrough came through the PRODUCT, she is now motivated to share her story with others because of the impact of the PRODUCT on her daughters life. Here is a child facing a life ending physical condition. Now, after using this PRODUCT for only 30 days, conditions have changed and the life of the child is no longer in danger. That’s a powerful story and the mother of this child realizes that.
It’s those who have the BREAKTHROUGH with our PRODUCT that become the BEST form of viral marketing and advertising!
I can only imagine what it would be like, for those who are struggling to build a business using the Internet, if they would finally grasp and understand that their TARGET MARKET IS NOT other Internet marketers. There are so many people killing their business by trying to recruit marketers, it makes my head spin to think about it.
If I want to be successful in any online business venture, the LAST person I want to bring into my organization is another Internet marketer who is already involved elsewhere. I don’t want that lack of focus in my group. If I am going to generate life changing income, I want people using my product who are actually getting the full benefit from it. They are going to be by biggest endorser in the end! When people have a breakthrough, like this woman and her child have had, that motivates them to tell others… and that drives business. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising!
My advice to her today was simple… STAY FOCUSED and CONCENTRATE on YOUR PASSION! ”This is what you believe in, this is what’s working… stick with it!” In the words of The Master Key System, “Let nothing, no one interfere… the thing is settled, the die is cast, the I in you has determined it. There is no longer room for any argument.” Do not let the influence of other Internet marketers distract you from what you have chosen to do. Stay focused on concentrate on that which you have determined to do.
If you really want to attract the right people for your niche/target market:
1.) Create blog content that gives advice and shares stories of breakthrough with others.
2.) Participate in groups and forums where your target market is hanging out.
3.) Share tips, ideas and strategies that work before your product is ever mentioned. Sharing quality information builds trust. When trust builds, business happens!
